Tuesday, June 6
6 pm
Waldron Hall
In the early 1970s, Donald Proffit came to Alaska as a conscientious objector to the Vietnam War. His memoir, Hardship Alaska, tells of his experiences around the state, including time spent living at St. Mary's. On June 6, Don will be joined by musician and teacher Mary Wagner LaFever and graphic recorder Lee Post for a interactive book talk about his time in Alaska. Come hear his story.
