Memories for Life: Reversing Alzheimer's
Documentary Screening and Discussion

Alzheimer's disease is a devastating, but poorly understood, degenerative disease and the cause of 60-70% of all dementia cases. This 2023 film by Hideyuki Tokigawa documents the experiences of several Alzheimer's patients who have been following a novel treatment approach coordinated by neurologist Dale Bredesen, in the hope of retaining or even regaining memory and mental function. If you missed last month's screening in Waldron Hall, this is a great opportunity to join the conversation!

The 85-minute film will be followed by a group discussion facilitated by Jane Thomas. This event is open to everyone; if you plan to attend, please call the Thomas Center at 907-538-9995 so that we will know how many people to expect.
