St. Mary's Awarded $50,000 Long-Range Planning Grant
St. Mary's has been awarded the inaugural domestic Feasibility Study Grant from Trinity Church Wall Street. This provides up to $50,000 to fund discernment and planning as we look toward the future of our church buildings and land. The Vestry has committed an additional $25,000 to this process, which will engage the whole congregation as we work together to answer these and similar questions:
How can we be a "Beacon On The Hill" for each other and for Anchorage?
What can we do to strengthen and deepen the bonds of community in our congregation, our city, and our state?
Our church has changed considerably since its founding in 1955. What do we want St. Mary's to look like over the next 65 years?
What urgent needs can’t wait?
This is a great opportunity, and we are excited to begin the discernment process with you. Stay tuned for more information as we take our first steps towards planning for the next 65 years of St. Mary's presence in our lives and our community.
