Salmonberry

Rubus spectabilis

Thicket-forming deciduous shrub that grows 2-7 feet. Flower between April-July, with fruit maturing in early July in warmer places and as late as August in cooler climates. Fruit is very seedy. Typically found in coastal areas.

Fruit typically eaten by birds, bears, and small mammals. Leaves and twigs browsed by herbivores in spring like moose, mountain goats, and rabbits.
